Speaker
With over 20 years of experience in Health Information, Tami Montroy is an industry leader in Revenue Cycle Management. She has served in both operational as well as strategic leadership roles in large academic medical centers, pediatric hospitals, a network of physician practices and rural hospitals across the country with a focus on facility and professional fee coding and reimbursement. Tami co-authored “Revenue Cycle Training Handbook: Sharing the Responsibility for Financial Success,” is a contributor to the AHIMA Journal, serves as co-chair for the Revenue Cycle Practice Council and currently is the Director of Physician Coding and Reimbursement for a large academic medical center on the east coast.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in health information management from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in health informatics from the University of Illinois in Chicago. She’s a big fan of Adam Grant’s Work Life Podcast and loves donuts.
