Direct responsibility for the oversight and management of the operations of health information management departments. Demonstrates initiative and leadership in the development and implementation of strategic, operational and financial goals. Proven leadership and mentoring skills through successfully coordinating multi-disciplinary projects for a common goal or objective. Demonstrates a proven track record within the organization with entrepreneurial activities, system wide improvement thinking and an ability to manage multiple departments. Demonstrates a capacity to adapt to new departments and learning opportunities. Demonstrates the ability to cultivate positive internal and external working relationships to encourage collaboration. Proven ability to effectively present information to various audiences that include Administration, the Board, Medical Staff and the community. Demonstrates engagement in healthcare and community involvement opportunities. Demonstrates the mission, vision, values and quality commitment of Faith Regional Health Services to all internal and external customers.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum of three to five years’ experience in health care required.
Previous experience in health information management preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of CMS, Joint Commission, and HIPAA regulations and requirements preferred.
